What would you do if your dog was in an accident or had hurt itself, or ingested something it shouldn't have?

One of the missions of INTO Dogs is to increase canine first aid and safety awareness to everyone involved with dogs. This is accomplished in part by offering our Canine First Aid and CPR Course that is suitable for people who work with dogs and owners alike.

Our aim is to give you the necessary knowledge and skills which will empower you to take positive action in the event of any emergency involving a dog. Canine first aid is different than human first aid in that dogs cannot tell us what hurts. Prevention of injury is the key; however, accidents do happen. What you do between when an injury happens and when veterinary care is available will greatly affect a dog's chances of a full recovery.

All dog lovers should know canine first aid, CPR & safety skills. As a dog lover, dog owner or dog professional, you could make the difference in the successful recovery of any injured dog.

What you will learn

This INTO Dogs course is the only course in which the curriculum and manual are approved by the EFR, so you know you are getting the best in canine first aid training.

Every student will get to practice CPR on a specially designed canine mannequin 'CasPeR' you will also get 'Primary' and 'Secondary' first aid. You will have lots of hands-on practice.

On successful completion you will be issued with an INTO Dogs Certificate, and a jpeg logo if requested, that you may proudly display on your website and paperwork to promote your commitment to canine first aid & safety.
